Item Name: FS/FT Remington 742
Location: Ellijay
Zip Code: 30540
Item is for: Sale or Trade
Sale Price: $300
Trade Value or Items Looking For: 44 Magnum Revolver
Caliber: .30-'06, 6.5 Mannlicher-Schoenauer , 5.56
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: I've acquired a few rifles over the years that I just don't need in my safe anymore.
Up first is a Remington 742 in .30-'06. Comes with a single magazine. The furniture does have some cosmetic blemishes, and the receiver does show some honest age from wear, but what do you expect from an old deer rifle. Comes with two boxes of Federal ammo, a trigger guard lock and a hard rifle case. Asking $300.
SOLD Next is a DPMS LCAR 5.56. The rifle is still brand-new-in-box, and comes with four PMAGs, two magazine pouches, and 800 rounds of Winchester 5.56. Bought this as a birthday present for my brother, but he decided at the last minute he'd rather have another of my guns, so I kept this one for myself but I have other ARs. Asking $800. SOLD
SOLD Last is a 1929 dated Carcano rifle that was sporterized at some point. I know that this isn't collectible or particularly interesting to most of you, but it does have a factory marked 6.5 Mannlicher-Schoenauer barrel which would make this a decent little hunting rifle for someone. Asking $150 for it. SOLD
As far as trades, I'd really like to acquire a .44 Magnum revolver, with a 3 or 4" barrel. Taurus 6-shot, S&W Model 29/629, or a Ruger Redhawk/Super Redhawk.
If you're interested or have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I work third shift so it might take me some time to get back to you (as I'm really only available in the morning and early afternoon), but I promise I will. Driver's license and 18 years of age required, carry permit preferred. I live in Ellijay and am willing to travel North to Blue Ridge, south to Canton to meet you half way. Thanks for looking!
