Item Description: Very interesting old carbine that I took on a trade. It shoots straight and groups well if you do your part. It ejects most of the time (I've never had to shoot a whitetail deer more than once and I've shot my share). It likes Remington Corelokt 150. Wood is very nice. Redfield steel base and rings.

Helluva deal on an authentic 742C. I've shot so many deer with one of these that my Georgia hunt camp has banned it from the camp.

Pictures look like it has a Leupold base and rings also. Excellent set-up that would cost $75 by itself.

For this price, somebody will be getting the hunting rifle of a lifetime, for a lifetime. Good luck with the sale... somebody will be getting a real special deal!
