Item Description: Beautiful Remington 700 Classic in .35 Whelen. These were made in 1988 only. This particular rifle has been professionally ported and has had a professional trigger job.....if it's 2.5 lbs I'd be shocked. Very nice trigger. Awesome caliber for just about any big game outside of truly dangerous game you'd like to hunt. Recoil is no more than a typical 30-06. The original walnut stock was removed when purchased and replaced with a very nice Bell and Carlson. The walnut stock is immaculate. Scope not included unless your trade comes with a similar scope. This one is a brand new Leupold Rifleman 4-12.
