Item Description: For your consideration today, here's a Romanian SKS made in 1958. I have had this one since 2005. This one has the nicest metal I have seen on a Romanian SKS - it's almost new. Metal parts are numbers matching. The stock does not match and is not as nice as the metal, but it's better than most Romanians, which tend to be beat to hell.
I cleaned this rifle of cosmoline, oiled it, and fired less than 40 rounds out of it in the time I've had it. It has functioned perfectly.
These are very well made, somewhat uncommon, and nearly identical to the Russian models. Time for someone else to enjoy it. Will throw in one box of Russian ammo to get you started.
