I had the compact and the lop was a tad short then stumbled on the 308 compact magnum in which I had no idea they even made the lop is a half in more its perfect.

Yes sir put it on there an works good. You still have the 308

Yah it's pretty cool looks similar but with open sights on it too . I guess they only made the 308 variant one year and discontinued it Google ruger compact magnum. I had never seen before. I think mainly they did that rifle in 300 rcm
