Item Name: FS/FT S&W 686-6 with 6" PORTED Barrel in original case-DEAL PENDING IF WE CAN FIGURE OUT THE DETAILS FOR THE MEET.

Location: Home Depot Covington

Zip Code: 30014

Item is for: Sale or Trade

Sale Price: $675 sale or trade value.

Trade Value or Items Looking For: I would consider other pre-lock revolvers in excellent condition and prefer the box and docs with it but not a deal killer for the right gun if those items are not available. I have several 686's so the only reason this is offered. Not sure what would excite me so ask away. I will be polite if I have no interest as long as the offer is not insulting and then I would just ignore it.

Caliber: 357/38

Willing to Ship: No

Bill of Sale Required? BOS not necessary if it bothers you but need to be at least 21, GA resident with current GA Driver's License and prefer to glance at a permit

Item Description: Beautiful condition Smith and Wesson model 686-6, full underlug Six Shot with a 6" PORTED barrel. Pictures hopefully show you the great condition. It comes in the original case and is sporting the original "combat style" rubber S&W grips. This even has the key and docs that are usually missing! The added length in the barrel really helps accuracy and cuts down recoil.

Here are the list of features on the box for the one with the ported barrel.:

FEATURES
06-A2-MD-GR-BP-SA-SP-FS-CS-ZS

Thank you JWC for the breakdown of the codes:

A2 = Single Action/Double Action-2004
MD = Medium frame size-2004
GR = Rubber Grips
BP = Black Partridge front sight
SA = Sights adjustable - 2004
SP = Partridge Front sight - 2004
FS = fixed sights (?) not sure why that code is on there since the rear sight is adjustable. It might mean that the front site is fixed.
CS = combat stocks - OR in 2004 can mean stainless steel cylinder
ZS = Satin stainless steel finish - 2004

The first few pictures showing the port on the barrel didn't upload as an open photo for some reason but you can click on the attachments to see them.

Thanks for checking her out.

Hi,

I am looking for a beater. I only need the frame any condition.
586 or 686 for making a 696.(must be no dash, -1,-2,-3 or -4)
Do you have anything like this?

Thanks,
Bob

No I don't. Everything I buy is in pristine condition and I am OCD about keeping them that way. Sorry.
