Really sucks the recoil was too much for her. How old is she? Possibly try 6.5 Creed, or 243? 7mm-08 is another good option. There is something special about trips to the range, or hunting camp with my daughters, hope y’all have them too.

Have you tried any low recoil loads? Most of the major manufacturers make some sort of low recoil load.

If you load use like a 125gr bullet with a slow burning powder. She might grow into it. They used to make a 22cal accelerator as well for the 308. If not 243 or 223 might work well

I have 3 boxes of Remington factory 308 reduced recoil ammo that I no longer have a need for. I would trade them for some 30-06 or handgun ammo.
