Item Description: Rearsenaled large ring Mauser. These rifles were cut down and rebarreled at the La Corona arsenal in Spain in 1956 as service rifles to facilitate the transition to CETME's in .308 rather than melt them all. All the numbers in the gun match and it functions great. Ive had it for about 10 years and its really fun to shoot, but it is immaculate on the inside and the bore and rifling look brand new. OAL 38.5" to the end of the flash hider(yes it has a muzzle device!). OAL 47.5" to the end of the bayonet(yes, it has a bayonet!), which goes for 50-70 bucks by itself, and this one is in great shape. Pretty much the ultimate zombie truck gun. It has a lot of other cool features like an adjustable rear aperture, and a removable compartment for storage in the false gas tube. I think you can even find an extended fixed magazine for it, but i haven't seen one in years. I think i got all the facts straight, but feel free to correct me. Comes with the rifle, pig sticker, and around 200 rounds(i think, boxes are unmarked) of 7.62x51 surplus ammo that this gun loves, and 5 or so stripper clips which work sometimes for 500 cash, or offer up the gun trades. Id like to keep the butt stock bag but its a cheapo anyway. I don't hunt, but im not opposed to bolt actions, and im not a cowboy. Please no weird caliber trades and please dont offer me something you can go get easily at the sports store. I prefer service style weapons BUT PLEASE NOTHING MILSURP OLDER THAN 1970 AT THIS TIME unless it is totally badass, and comparable to this. Thanks dudes, feedback welcome. More pictures and info for serious offers.
