Item Description: Hard to let this one go, but up for sale is my byf 43 K98k. Caliber 8mm Mauser (7.92x57mm).
Details as follows:
Manufacturer: byf (Mauser - Oberndorf)
Year: 1943
Mid-late war features such as simpler front barrel band, metal cup butt plate, laminate stock.
Bore condition - Good (Simpson Ltd. Scale), strong rifling, some frosting in grooves.
Stock is in good surplus shape, with a nick in the stock near the barrel band.
See photos for more condition details. This is a solid, shooter-grade rifle.
Bayonet included.
More interested in cash (trying to raise money for another purchase), but will listen to other milsurp trades. Especially interested in Persian Mauser & Argentine M1891, and will consider Finnish guns, model dependent. Will add cash or 8mm ammo for the right deal. No sporters.
