I think you are in real dangerous territory here. Why take the chance on having to prove your position if you sold a handgun to a under 21 and he kills someone with it. I think it would cost you a butt load of money to clear your position, if it would stand up in court. Wallacem

A person is justified in using deadly force based on the situation, not their age. If an 18-year-old uses a hand gun illegally, he's in the same position as a 30-year-old. Selling the firearm to said 18-year-old isn't illegal, so there wouldn't be anything to worry about that wouldn't be a worry had he been 30. I don't understand what "position" you'd have to clear. You legally sold an item to a person qualified to own the item.
