Item Description: The Stoeger Model 2000 is a semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 12 gauge (shoots 2 and 3/4 and 3 inch shells). Instead of a gas system, it has an inertia driven recoil system where a strong spring inside the bolt absorbs and delays the recoil. While the shotgun recoils the bolt basically stays still momentarily (microseconds) before pushing back and chambering another shell. Since the bolt isn’t gas driven there isn’t a lot of carbon build up–meaning less cleaning. The bolt itself has a simple three-piece design: spring, bolt body and rotating head. The safety button is beside the trigger. The butt stock has a hollow tube behind the bolt, so an optional mercury-filled recoil reducer can be installed. Fiber optic sight, Realtree APG camo.

Included with gun
4 aftermarket Carlson Choke tubes: Extra full ported turkey, Super steel Midrange waterfowl (mod), Super steel close range waterfowl (IC) and standard Mod in stainless. These are quality choke tubes (I paid over $140 for them). The choke tubes that come with the gun are junk, that's why I upgraded. Note - the turkey choke patterns Remington Nitro Turkey very well.

4 factory chokes: Full, mod, IC and C

Claw sling in Realtree APG - very nice and comfortable

Choke tube case and wrench

Original box and manual

I am the original owner of the gun and have had if for 3 or 4 years. I used it mostly for turkey and duck hunting. It is in great shape with nothing wrong with it - has a few handling marks. I treated it very well, cleaning / oiling after being in the field. Probably only but a few hundred rounds through it (75 of which were for the break-in period, recommended in the manual).

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions or have a trade offer!
