Item Description: I have a 2 stroke 2 cylinder suzuki motor rated at 6HP. It will plane out a 14' 36" wide jon boat with me (200lbs) and my dog (65lbs) It seems 6hp is conservative. Its a late 90's model I believe. Runs great no problems. I can run it for you so you can see it running. This motor would be really great on a 12' or 10' jon boat, it actually might be dangerous on a 10 footer!!! This thing reminds me of that time i raped an ape and then let it go and watched it run.
