These are great guns especially for young starters. About 15 years ago I bought a 223 for my 8 year old son. After a couple years it was passed to his younger brother. After he outgrew it, we passed it to some of their younger cousins. This gun has taken 14 deer and never lost one by wounding. It will be used again I'm sure. You just can't beat them !!

i've bought, sold and traded a lot of guns and one of the only ones i regret letting go of was a hand-rifle in 7-08. nice compact rifles with a decent trigger
