I guess I should scour the woods for suitable walking sticks to display on such a fine piece of work since my Hottentot and Zulu spears are already mounted on squirrel hide frames.

Hiking sticks were quite collectable back in the later decade of the 20th century. If ya have a leftover squirrel hide that you didn't tear up too bad in yer spear chuking practice sessions & the tail is still intact, I'd trade for that- even.
