Item Description: One you will not find. I have a 1949 70 year old Model 70. SN 1244--. Very nice rifle with good wood and excellent bluing with jeweled bolt and head spaced and trigger work from Noglegg gunsmith out of gainsville. I loaded it with first load of Hodgens 4350 with 61.5 grains and 130gr. Nozler for velocity around 3200 fps. I shot four shots and then corrected and shot one shot to confirm. One inch at 140 yds and I shot the little flyer on a little hot barrel. It has a new out of box 4-16x44 Vortex Viper A. O. with Leupold rings and redfield base mount. I can take the scope and leave base and add rings of your choice for $775. No lower offers as will not respond to them. I have one full box of ammo that will come with it. The rifle can be shot here at my 140 yd range.
