I'm not ashamed to say I own a couple, no I would not consider them to be a "competition" gun, but they aren't as bad a their reputation is. Anyone that has never shot one should buy this gun and try it. This is one of the best guns you can buy for the price point.

To whomever buys this, call the 9mm factory service location. They will check the serial number for the manufacture date. If needed, they will either give you instructions on sending your firearm to them for a rebuild, or send you a kit which includes recoil springs, sear spring, firing pin, etc., if you're up to doing the rebuild yourself. They've changed some of the specs since the pistol was first introduced.
