Ok, guys, here’s the deal. Closer inspection in good daylight shows a few more dings than I realized. I managed to put the faint scratches on the right front of the receiver by dropping a cleaning rod on it this morning (duh).
Blem in the barrel is from where the ‘smith ground the post off the new front bead.
Still think it’s a good value.
