It is a lot of dimes for sale from a variety of years with a variety of wear.

I thought spot was around $24-25 on scrap silver??? I know it changes constantly...U sure about $32.89?

He got the silver price for one 1/2 dollar at 11.90. The silver spot is 32.89/oz. I bought a bunch from him today. He'll give a good price if you buy a decent amount.

That is the website that i use to determine value. it uses a live 24 hour feed on spot price when it does its values.

Thanks...I turn silver coins into rings...have a crap load of foreign coins from the early part of the 20th century that I'm going thru. Thought scrap was cheaper...at least that's the intel I got last week from a coin collector...he may have different kind of scrap though.

Scrap or Junk silver refers to old coins that are not numesmatic/collector coins. The silver content ranges from 90% 1964 and earlier to 40% half dollars 1965- 1970 or 71.
Spot price is on .999 pure silver regardless of origin. Hope this helps clear things up a bit.
