Knight's Armament has 21 years of experience in 7.62mm development, refinement, and service. The production of the earliest model SR-25's started in 1989. The SR-25 was first conceptualized with its primary function being a sniper rifle. It delivers remarkable shooting accuracy with .5 MOA being attainable in a multiple target environment. The MK11 MOD0 and the M110 have embodied this experience and helped drive the company's renowned pursuit of perfection ultimately leading to the Enhanced Match Series of SR-25's.
The Enhanced Match (E.M.) Carbine is the natural evolution of the original SR-25 Battle Rifle/Carbine and the advanced technology elements taken from the Army's M110 Sniper Rifle Program and KAC's continuous attention to product detail. Some of these new developments include changing the timing of the gas system and improving the bolt unlocking environment which ensures a more positive cartridge case ejection. KAC also reduced the felt recoil impulse for faster follow-up shots. These substantial changes have created a much more reliable and robust system.
