Will the threads on the barrel accept an oil filter type set up? Of course that would be another stamp I presume?

I believe that someone does make an adaptor to change the threads to something more common, like maybe 5/8x24, then you could buy an oil filter adaptor to fit that, but I have my doubts about an oil filter being full auto rated.

I could be wrong, but it is my understanding that you can actually pay the tax stamp for an oil filter and oil filter adaptor. I pretty sure somebody - Cadiz I think - is selling an oil filter and a thread adaptor together as a suppressor requiring a tax stamp. But to change the oil filter, you have to take it or send it to a SOT 07 manufacturer, can't do it yourself, even if you did the thing yourself on a form 1. Still has to go to a 07 for a filter change.

Correct, you could buy a tax stamp on a form 1 to use a oil filter. But when it breaks/blows out. (Not if) You have to go to a 07 to have it done legally. Plus there's that serializing part and the obstruction of the sights and what not...

Looks like the last of the three M11/9 I had for sale is gone (pending inspection and payment), plus the MAC 10 originally posted in this thread was sold, so all the auto's I was parting with are now sold. Herd successfully thinned.
