Item Description: Marlin 1895 ABL 18.5" barrel with 6rd magazine chambered in 45-70 Govt. The rifle has the Wild West Guns Happy Trigger Kit ($110) installed to correct the sloppy factory trigger. It also has an LPA Ghost Ring rear sight ($115) milled to fit the top of the receiver. There is an XS Sights Lever Scout Rail ($70) which allows the proper eye relief of the Burris 2.75x20mm Scout Scope ($230). This setup allows shooting with both eyes open for better target acquisition on moving targets. It is surprisingly accurate for a brush gun and I can consistently shoot 7/8" groups at 100yds with factory Remington CORE-LOKT 405gr ammunition. I have run Hornady 325gr LEVERevolution through it, but could only consistently maintain 1 1/4" groups at 100yds. I will entertain REASONABLE offers.
