Item Description: Thought I might keep this but it would just gather dust so wanted it to get used. It is a Mossberg Silver Reserve 20g over under that I picked up at the last RK Show. If you look at them new, the wood finish is crap but I could tell this had a nice piece of wood hiding under that thick polyurethane.
So, I stripped it and gave it a nice hand rubbed tung oil finish and topped that off with rennaissance wax. And now the wood looks amazing! It also had the typical gritty safety these are dinged for so I removed and polished they safety and now it is very smooth.
All in all, it is way better than it came from the factory! I have the box but it is banged up and I have the two original cylinder chokes but it takes huglu style chokes if you need others.
Please let me know if you have any questions... I think this is about as nice as you will find in a $550 O/U
