the later version (not officially named version 2) such as this, have front serrations and no “grip cutout” which was the half moon shaped cutout on the bottom of the front strap to “aid in stuck magazine extraction” it was unpopular. Other than that cutout, gen 5 is glock perfection.

That's a relief! I bought an MOS with FS and have thrown some additional money at it including fitting X-grips (though the fit is not perfect and I have to push the G17 magazines in to hear them click).

Just my two cents, Try the Glock plus 2 baseplates instead next time.

Many thanks - sorry it's not obvious to me but how do these work (I wanted to add G17 magazines to my G19)?
