Item Description: Up for grabs is a complete current issue Military Package consisting of a TC Prefix M18, NIB in non-commercial factory packaging as delivered to the military. It is still in the unopened factory sealed bag. This is the sidearm that won the military trials and officially replaced the Beretta 92.. It is a genuine contract overrun gun which will most certainly be worth a butt-ton in the future. The slide is marked M18 only, unlike the P320 civilian counterpart. It is quite different mechanically than the Civilian version as the iron sights are different as is the optic mounting system. The firing pin design and assembly is different as is the higher spring rate recoil spring/s. It also by military requirements has a safety. It come factory with one 17round magazines and two extended 21 round magazines. I'm sure there are other differences such as finish etc, but don't know them all off the top of my head.
Also included in this military package is a very hard to find brand new in the factory SN matching box LMD PAiL IR Aiming Device made specifically for the M17/M18. These were never offered/available for the civilian market and this is a factory new one with factory manual, pink bubble wrap and factory supplied Energizer CR123 battery. I've owned eight of these LMD PAiLs and saved this best example for this M18 Package which I planned to hold for many years as investment. It is not possible to find a nicer one. It is as new as new gets, but I have tested it just to confirm it functions flawlessly. I bought this particular PAiL directly from a someone stationed at a military base. I don't think I would be able to find another one as factory pristine at any price.
Lastly and also included is a silly rare Military Safariland Holster. This holster is a new, never issued sample that Safariland sent the military for evaluation. This holster is specific for this exact package/config. As indicated on the holster, it is for a M17/M18 equipped with an LMD PAiL. Like the PAiL this holster was never commercialized to the civilian market. It wouldn't surprise me if this holster alone fetches $500-1K with future military collectors.
I bought two of these M18 contract overrun guns. One for me to use, and one to put away (this one for sale) for decades as an investment piece since I feel it will be exponentially more expensive in 10-15 years. Unfortunately I have to liquidate some things to fund a business venture. I did not even get to shoot my other one before I sold it to my friend (along with an unboxed/serialized PAiL) yesterday. I've added pictures of it so you can see what these looks like equipped with the PAiL. In any case, this kit is perfect for the military centric collector or just as an investment piece. Its also great for someone that wants what the military uses. Its not "like" a current military sidearm, it IS the current military sidearm. If it's good enough for the most elite military in the world, than it sure as ship is good enough for your personal protection.
