Did you have the non fluted cylinder model? That's the one my first wife shot herself with back in 97. Damn shame too. I really miss that Rossi.

No, mine had the fluted cylinder and the barrel had a compensator machined
right into the end --it looked like a detachable compensator, but it wasn't .
