It's printed on them. You can also open the gun up, buffer has an H, its a good indicator of a gen 2.
Feed ramp is also filed down/polished better.

I will say, about 400 for ammo&mags in value, that leaves this about 950ish.
This is a fair deal, I love my 10" version.

Dylan, I believe if you read the print on the gun, it will say ks47 gen2 if it is infact a 2.
Also, check the rear buffer for an "H", and look at the feed ramps, they should be beveled or opened wider than normal.

All those looking for one of these, they are great, and his price without the optic is on point
