Dumb question. I don't know anything about otf knives (just learned the acronym about a month ago). They seem to be gaining in popularity, but is seems like the would be really flimsy especially if you were to pry (yeah I know, don' t do it) with the blade. How do they feel? Solid?

Thanks and GLWS, it looks sweet!

Good vid showing some abuse on an Ultratech. OTF autos inherently have blade play because of the design, there is some wiggle but it's minimal. It's pretty solid considering. I don't do much or any prying with a knife but if I do it's either a strider DB or something like that. Right tool for the right job. Just buy a little pocket pry tool, the use your knife to cut. I wouldn't pry with a microtech because of the aluminum frame. But that's me.

Oh and for whatever it's worth I have pictures of this knife on Instagram and they've been liked by microtech knives and josh lee from strider. Don't think those dudes would be showing love to a fake.

Yes It is Legit.... Its an Ultratech that is dressed with Monkey Edges Grip style. I don't know if I would call them "rare" seeing the run is still on going but it may be in the future if Monkey Edge and Microtechs collaboration does not continue. Only time will tell. I have several Microtech knives, and I had the opportunity to play with one of these the other day, I must say....I do like the grip texture on these. GLWS

ALL microtech knives have serial numbers..dont see one on that one...looks like a clone

If you have questions of a sensitive nature, I suggest you send the OP a private message. If you suspect something as being misrepresented, then report it to the moderators and we will look into it. I would say an apology to the OP is warranted, but I would hope that isn't something you would need to be promoted to offer. Thank you and have a good evening.
