Item Description: This is my first hunting rifle handed down to me from Dear Old Dad. It's about a 1972 make that I got in '74. Has a Weaver 4X fixed and a decent leather sling. The Weaver is missing the side mount scope cap. It's not a museum piece but it was an excellent shooter last I used it which was quite some time ago. It will come with 55 rounds of various factory ammo. Can't think what else to say. $500 is firm. Also have a Weatherby Mk V .300 Wby Mag listed.

Happy Labor Day, Ladies and Gents!

Sorry to be slow, Gents. Busy yesterday. The "spool things" are actually an old balloon form, I like antique oddities. The stock is not cracked and has not been refinished. And finally, I've got plenty of Dad's stuff. I asked my two adult sons if they were interested in this one and they're not. Not to worry, I've still got Dad's beloved Kleinguenther 7mag and other treasures. I'm happy with the thought that someone might bag their first whitetail with this guy 50 years after I did. Thanks for all of your comments.

Thanks to all, all PM's have been answered. SPM. Curious if you know, the 7 mag, .270, and now the .243 sell in short order but nobody seems interested in my Wby .300 mag. Anybody have an opinion as to why? Thanks! Judge
