From what I'v read the 78 sportsman is the economy version of the Model 700. Action is supposed to be the same. Will fit in the 700's stock. Has see through mounts and a illuminated 3X9X40 scope. Rifle has been used but is in good working order. Am interested in lever guns. Will sell the gun and scope for 375.00 or without the scope for 350.00. Will through in a box (20 rounds) of ammo.
