Item Description: Hi everyone
Long history on this piece. I bought it from one of gunsmiths at Cylinder and Slide about 25 years ago online. The gunsmith was Ralph Knudsen, AKA "Big Hairy Ralph." He told me at a SHOT Show that the gun was carried in Vietnam and his boss, Bill Laughridge, was going to cannibalize it for parts but Ralph thought it could be saved and bought it from Bill. I can't imagine a Model 27 or Colt Python surviving Vietnam but I know a lot went over there.

Made in late 1953- early 1954
Cylinder and Slide action job, smooth like butter.
Hammer and trigger are jeweled, (engine turned).
Nice and shiny bore.
Refinished and parkerized.
It shoots great.
I know collectors are grossed out 😋
