what did you use to clean the carbon rings off the cylinder? im interested in possibly purchasing this firearm

I used Hoppe No 9 with a green 3M scrubbing cloth. Doesn't leave scratches and gets the gunk off.

Kind of a hijack on the thread, but use Fliltz, a cotton cloth (t-shirt) it will take the carbon off the face of the cylinder.

Actually Hoppes number 9 and a green scrub pad with some light elbow grease works just fine.

Actually, the FLITZ recommended by JWC will do the job PERFECTLY, while being less ABRASIVE--and therefore less HARMFUL--to your fine SS Guns...HTH....mikey357
