Item Description: For sale is a Sig P6 in very good condition, as the pictures below show. The P6 is an aluminum frame, steel slide, single-stack 9mm with a double/single action firing system. It’s the police version of the Sig 225. About fifteen years ago, large numbers of P6’s were imported to the U.S. as European police departments updated their sidearms. Now, they must be well loved, as they don’t come up for sale very often.
This particular gun is dated to December, 1980. The bore is shiny, the finish has only a little honest wear with no dings, and the stocks’ checkering is sharp and unworn. It comes with its box and one magazine. Additional mags are all over Gunbroker and elsewhere for around $20.
The P6 is like an old school Zippo lighter – a throwback to when handguns were solid, reliable, and indestructible. It’s a single stack, so it fits any hand size. Throw it in your glove box, nightstand, or on your hip, and you’ll never worry about it being ready when needed. This is an all-metal Sig for way less money than other models.
