Item Description: Nickel plated model 12 air weight in 38 special caliber. Pistol was a carry, but is in good shape and has only been shot twice in it's lifetime. These pistols are very hard to come by, and hardly ever come up for auction or sale.

Cylinder should be steel. I carry one of these daily in an old Tex Shoemaker paddle holster. Very comfortable to carry and good revolver.

Carried a 12 for years and years, and NEVER should have let it go. Best darn boot gun there is.

IIRC....The cylinder on these are aluminum...Super light but dangerous to shoot incorrect loads in it....I wouldn't trust 38+P in it. 38spl only.

Mid fifties...Smith scrapped the alloy cylinder and went to steel. If this is an early M&P airweight, it would definitely be something to have!...probably don't want to fire it though
