Item Description: This listing is for my Smith & Wesson Model 19-6. The model 19-6 .357 Magnum( the-6 is the 6th version of the model since it was first produced in 1957) was made from 1988-1993 which means this Smith does NOT have the unsightly frame lock and does not use the MIM metal parts that are sometimes prone to breakage like the new S&W’s do. It also has the firing pin mounted on the hammer, as it should be. The gun is basically mint condition aside from a couple very small superficial handling marks. I bought it about 6 years ago and was told it barely had a cylinder’s worth of ammo shot out of it which I did confirm when examining it. I have shot it twice the first year I bought it and then put it in storage. The target grips are in excellent condition as is the rest of the gun. It comes with the original box, paperwork, and the old school S&W wax paper that was packaged with all their guns back in the day to protect the finish of the gun. I’m only selling because I have a 1960’s model of this exact gun and would rather see someone else enjoy this piece. Absolutely nothing wrong with this gun and would make a great addition to any ones collection, a carry revolver, or target shooter. $1,150 OBO. These things sell on gunbroker at that price all the time in worse condition and with no box. This comes with original box, paperwork and is in excellent 98% condition. Would prefer to text, but will answer calls as I can during the day while I’m at work. Please No trades. Don’t have to use FFL, but will only complete transaction with copy or picture of valid Georgia drivers license and phone number on bill of sale. No out of state sales at all.
