Item Description: Markings indicate 1943 manufacture of this model 11 riot 20” barrel, US marked with flaming bomb on receiver and barrel, in excellent condition.
FJA (Col. Frank J. Atwood)inspector mark on the stock and faint cross cannons. Marked Cyl.
These model 11’s 20” barrels were used for riot control, in military prisons and in close encounters combat.
The longer barrel ones were used to train gunners in the Army Air Corp during WWII.
