Item Description: ****Sold Pending Meeting***********Up for sale is this 1991 Browning Model 42 Limited Edition Grade I .410 shotgun chambering for 2 3/4" and 3" shells. This shotgun is in excellent condition with original box and paperwork included. 26" barrel with fully ventilated rib with full choke (I need to confirm this but pretty sure they were all full choke). Both the stock and forend are checkered and have minimal wear marks from moving around and storage in safe. Pretty sure it's never been shot but I can't be 100% on that (my family is the only owner). Serial number 007xx
Only 6,000 of these shotguns were manufactured between 1991-1993 by Browning (made in Japan) as a reproduction of the Winchester Model 42. The Browning 42s function and feel like their Winchester counterparts and have a beautiful finish that makes them stand out. Browning is known for a higher quality fit and finish as well as exceptional accuracy. The wood finish and smooth bluing on a Browning makes this shotgun a display piece on top of collectable.
