the firearm was bought by me and transferred to me by the FFL. Yes I am a Georgia resident.

That paper never leaves the FFL unless the ATF come by to look for it... Other than that its not actually registered.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I’ve had four pistols stolen myself. Three different times from my truck. F-ing thieves. I wish you could’ve caught them in the act. Don’t hold your breath on recovery. The police won’t look for them. Best bet is it’s recovered in a traffic stop. Take your gun with you when you leave your vehicle from now on.
