Item Name: Walther P22 22LR

Location: Temple

Item is for: Sale Only

Sale Price: $400

Caliber: 22lr

Willing to Ship: No

Bill of Sale Required?: Never!!!

Item Description: I am the second owner of this pistol and I personally have fired less than 50 rounds through it. I originally purchased it for my 9yo daughter but the poor thing does not have the hand strength to squeeze the trigger. It was being used as a "cat gun" to keep the neighborhood cats out of the chicken coops however Carroll County Sherriff Dept. did not approve. I have moved on to the crossbow, so here it is!

The gun comes with the original box, paperwork, factory round, magazine, roughly 900 rounds of ammo and the factory lock.

Please inquire via phone call or text message @ 678-637-2346. I do check my PM's but not quite as often as I should. Also, I work 2nd shift, I am up until around 3am so don't be shy with middle of the night calls.

Do you live in Downtown Temple? I live off Rainey Rd and shoot all the time and have never had a visit. I wish I had the cash, but I do have a like new Rossi 38 +P snubnose with Rubber grips. It has less than 20 rounds through it and I can throw in some ammo.

Yea, my "visit" was due more to the circumstances of the incident rather than the shooting itself. I came home around midnight after work one Saturday to find one of my birds mauled presumably by my neighbors cat (again). My neighbors were having a Bon fire with friends and family and as I walked around the side of my house I saw their cute little white kitty cat (who they cannot seem to keep on thier property) prancing around to the side of my place where my coops are, I'm guessing to finish his dinner. I yelled to the neighbors "you better get your cat" they responded with "it's not our cat" (which I knew it was) [fast forward 2 minutes]... After being struck Fluffy managed to run all the way back to her owners house and died peacefully next to the bonfire with friends and family by her side... The sheriff showed up 20 min later!

Oh, BTW the Walther is SPM!

Well as far as the "law" was concerned I did not do anything wrong except for shooting after dusk and before dawn. I used the "protecting my property" line to fend that off. The end result was him taking a report and asking me very politely to not use a gun in the middle o the night to dispatch four legged intruders. It's a small town so I figured it best to comply so now I use the crossbow and needless to say my neighbors have not spoke to me since, nor have they gotten another cat.

Oh, and it should be pointed out that I love animals, I have over 50 of them including dogs rabbits chickens and fish but I raise show quality Silkies and Sumatras some of which I paid as much as $200 for, not to mention the loss in egg production when I lose a bird to a cat that someone else can't keep on their property.

BTW: I have Silkie chicks for sale now in the pet listings. :-)
