Item Name:
FS Winchester M1 Garand, WW2

Location: Summerville

Zip Code: 30747

Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: 1200 OBO

Caliber: 30-06

Willing to Ship: No

Bill of Sale Required?: No

Item Description: Listing this one separately from my other M1 Garands because it's my favorite, and because it's a Winchester. Most people may not know, but Winchester made a smaller number of M1 Garands during WW2.
Made in January 1944
SN 2368855
New Springfield barrel in 1952
Springfield Op. rod.
Correct Winchester bolt
Correct Winchester trigger group
Correct Winchester sights
Every small part that I can identify is Winchester, except the barrel and OP rod. - Don't blame me, blame the US Army. They didn't care what kind of barrel they were using when they re-arsenaled these. The barrel however, is in excellent condition. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling.
Throat: 2.5
Muzzle: 1.5
- And the stock, which appears to be a newer made Boyd's, which is beautiful, if not original.
Metal finish is 90-95%
No import marks.
National Match leather sling.
1200 OBO

Yes, Winchester really did make WW2 M1 Garands. They're probably the most desirable among Garand collectors.
