I have a Model 37 in 12 Gauge. Does yours say "Steelbilt" on the barrel? When they made these, they didn't put serial numbers on them. Mine belonged to my grampa....

It's a very well built gun. Nice squirrel shooter...

yes it says "Steelbilt"

The model 37 is absolutely the best single shot shotgun available. I would never sell my .410.

He stated that it is a "Steelbilt" so it will not have Winchester stamped on the Bottom of the receiver. It it was stamped then that would make it a Red Letter.

I stand corrected. The info I gave you is wrong. They can be Red Letter and Steelbilt.
