Item Description: For sale, pre 64 winchester model 59 12 gauge. Only 82,085 made. Aluminum alloy reciever, floating chamber designed by Carbine Williams. Has the win-lite barrel which was advertised as having 500 miles of glass fiber wrapped around and fused to a thin steel barrel. Barrel is stamped 12 gauge 2 3/4 chamber, Improved cyl. Barrel only measures 23 inches so I assume it was shortened and the bead reinstalled somewhere along the line. Finish wear on reciever and barrel along with stocks, and I don’t think the recoil pad is original. Cool old shotgun but it’s condition kills it’s collectibility, though it would probably make a good rabbit gun lol. Price is $200 cash local sale only in the Commerce/Jefferson area.
