Item Description: This is a very nice 308 rifle that I am listing for a good friend. He has about 700 rounds through the rifle (barrel life on a 308 is usually close to 6,000 rounds) so it is barely broken in. Comes ready to shoot and is a solid 1/2 MOA or better gun with factory ammo. He has shot groups as small as 1/2" at 200 with factory 168g ammo. Also shoots 175g well, but not like the killer groups with 168g.
Rifle is in an HS Precision stock that has been bedded, Varmint contour fluted barrel, has a trigger job, along with Badger rings around a Leupold extended range scope, on a one piece scope base and has a duracoat camo finish. Also has a nice extended bolt knob. BDL bottom metal.
The owner has several Accurate Ordnance rifles and as nice as this rifle shoots, it is just collecting dust so I am helping him move it to a new home.
Scope is a Leupold 6.5-20 with side parallax and duplex reticle with target adjustable knobs.
