Nice rifle. Is the trigger guard post WW2? I may be thinking wrong but thought the WW2 guards had the hole at the rear to hook a pin/cartridge in for disasembly. Any interests in trades at all? I had to ask. Thanks and God bless, and good luck with your sale.
They switched to the stamped trigger guard around mid 1944. The one you are referring to is the milled trigger guard. This one is late 1945 so it's correct. No thank you on trades. Thanks for the interest!
