Item Name: FS Yeah she's ugly, but she's still a ............

Location: Atlanta Area

Zip Code: 30004

Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: 350.00

Caliber: .38 special

Willing to Ship: No

Bill of Sale Required?: No

Item Description: Colt Agent 6-Shot .38 special revolver. Looks like she might have been original nickel and then parkarized and now the parkarization has molded off. Yes, she's not a head turner in the good way. Yes, there appears to be some pitting. Yes, the grips are not original (handmade). This is a 3rd version D-frame Colt .38 revolver. Trigger pull is excellent in both DA and SA. Cylinder locks up tight and no push-off on the hammer. She shoots straight and is a good carry or truck revolver. If you're looking for something to have if you're someone who's out in the environment or working in dirty places and don't want to take your pretty guns with you but want a dependable gun that'll shoot everytime, this will fit that need. Or, if you want to have it in your cabin/boat/camper and not worry about what happens to if physically, this will work to.

Please review the pictures to understand and see condition. I've expressed it very clearly and have taken pictures to show it.

If you'd like to offer some trades please state what the trade is and pics if you have them.

PM me if interested.

I would definitely agree. Maybe a nice flat black? That could look sweet!!!
NO! This snub is great just the way it is now. In fact there was a thread last week about things that are perfect just the way they are. This snub should be posted up there. The only Colt I ever owned was an early 90s Series 80 1911. So I'm no Colt expert. But I thinkg in the years to come Colt collectors will probably want this snub just as it is now.:thumb:

Well thanks for the compliments on her guys. I'm a revolver guy and love 'em all the same. But, I know some would prefer a "Prom Queen" as opposed to the "Book Worm" who's secretly hott and easy to get her to blast every time. Haha....sorry guys it's late and I'm up on the computer. Tasteless humor I know....

Any idea how the finish ended up like that? Obviously ended up with some rust in places....maybe someone intentionally stripped the nickel or parkerizing off in order to refinish but never got around to it. Interesting.

That gun would be saying. Why the hell did you treat me like this! I've serviced you well and your discarding me?

No clue. She was like this when I got her a while back. She performs well though.
