Item Name: Item Gone: FT 1998 K1500 4X4 SILVERADO EDITION
Location: Dublin
Item is for: Trade Only
Trade Value or Items Looking For: cash
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: Yes
Item Description: 1998 Chevrolet k1500 Silverado Edition purchased from an estate sale.
-5.7L Vortec
-Extended cab. Standard sized bed.
-Professional Rhino-lined bed from Evans, GA.
-New 2-stage original factory color pewter metallic paint job.
-Brand new: gas tank, fuel filter, custom fabricated braided fuel lines (Dixie Machine shop in Dublin Ga)
-brake light switch, multifunction switch, intake and gasket, spark plugs, rotor, cap, battery, air filter, engine coolant sensor, temp sensor, sway bar links, and blower motor.
-Upgraded to new (not rebuilt) multiport fuel injection (no spider injection)
-Push button 4-wheel drive works good.
-Fresh oil and filter for engine, transmission, and new oil and gasket for rear differential.
Only issue is that Torque converter will not lock up. Code reads an “open circuit for the torque converter”. Transmission shop installed a new solenoid which did not fix the problem. At this point it is either something in the computer or the wire running to TC is shorted somewhere. Most likely the wire due to the other four gears and reverse shifting perfectly.
Truck runs and drives good, strong and smooth torque curve.
Good Truck that needs a good home, $5500
