they are mexican. ive had a few mexi standards and this was by far the most expensive and better sounding.

These teles sounds great. I had one briefly that was a killer blues/country/rock guitar. Nice balanced tone, and interesting blend of sounds not heard in a traditional tele. GLWT, hopefully you get what you want out of it, if not PM me a cash price. I may be interested in making a purchase.
