Item Name: FT GSG 1911 22LR

Location: canton

Zip Code: 30114

Item is for: Trade Only
Trade Value or Items Looking For: Perhaps a different 22 pistol or maybe a good quality lower receiver

Caliber: 22

Willing to Ship: No

Bill of Sale Required?: No

Item Description: What we got here is a turd of a little 1911 22 manufactured by GSG. It's got a threaded barrel adapter and is suppressor ready. Tends to jam up when it gets just the slightest bit dirty which is very quickly when you're running a suppressor. Slide is a little fuct up from being manhandled by yours truly. It's made of some flimsy ****y German pot metal so don't be surprised if it gets worse.
I would gladly trade for a quality American-made 22 pistol for my daughter.

I really love the finer handguns, but I also love to take the imperfect and work toward improving its performance, guess I'm a tinkerer at heart and don't want to tinker with my finer guns. What's that saying.. "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it"?

I have a full size one that I bought brand new when they first came out.

I way overpaid for it at Oz's, but it runs reliably with or without a suppressor.

I swapped out the thumb safety for a solid colt part.

I couldn't sell it for a third of what I paid new...

Has to be my biggest purchase mistake, value wise.

Having said that, it's fun to shoot.
