From what I can see, this started life as a SU16A (mine's a SU16C). Points to note for this rifle... It's a piston action, so there's no buffer to handle recoil (I suggest a stock pad of some type for recoil). It's VERY LIGHT, so it's easier to carry than an AR. Takes all AR15 type mags, including Magpul, and eats any ammo you wanna feed it. The rifle cannot be fired when folded, only the "C" stock will let it fire when folded. The Saiga shotgun forend is FAR better than the "bipod forend" or the "compact forend" on mine. In all, a sweet rifle to supplement any personal arsenal...

I took the bipod off mine too as well as the cheap plastic front sight which was replaced by a metal AK sight. Somebody will have a nice rifle with this one.
