Item Description: I got this rifle in original form for my wife to start hunting with. The metal was in very good condition but the stock was cracked. And it was missing the front sight.
I put it in a Boyd’s stock, added fiber optic sights and a pic rail. Lightened the trigger a bit for a clean, crisp, consistent break.
Rifle does have a feeding issue. 3 rounds in the box and it’ll cycle. 2 rounds and it won’t. It’ll jam up. I don’t know what the problem is. I’m shooting reduced Hornady loads. But it shoots straight and will stack them on top of each other at 75 yards.
My wife is still new to hunting and has requested a simpler platform. This rifle is not for sale. It’s for trade only. And the ONLY trade I’m interested in is a QUALITY single shot rifle in mild loads (243, 260, 270, 7-08 etc.) I am not interested in anything smaller than a .243.
