Item Description: I have a like new Savage Axis ii heavy barrel predator camo bolt gun trade. On top sits a Bushnell Bushnell Banner 4-12x44 with an Adjustable Optic. It will come with a nice Allen Soft Case, a Butler Creek sling, and 18 round of 140 gr federal fusion ammo.
I have bore sighted the rifle, and started to sight it in; which is the reason two bullets are missing from the box, but I felt it was to windy and stopped. There have only been 2 rounds fired from this rifle, so it’s pretty much new.
I am wanting to trade, because I want a lighter rifle for backpacking and carrying long distances. I can shed a pound by going to a sporter barrel. I would like another bolt gun in the following calibers 7mm-08, 280ai, or 6.5 creed...I believe a Axis ii with a sporter barrel, a stainless Axis, TV Venture or a Ruger American would fit the bill. Other rifles excluding anything Remington will be considered (hate Remington). The rifle I trade for doesn’t have to have an optic as I have another one ready to be put on.
